Accessories are sourced separately from the suit. The bow tie is chosen for the closest available colour; its fabric and shade may differ. The cummerbund is satin and colour-matched as closely as possible; slight shade variation may occur.

Men’s Black Velvet Tuxedo — Made to Measure

Black velvet adds depth and texture to an otherwise restrained evening look. Choose the styling and fit that work for your occasion, using the options on this page.

Included: a made-to-measure jacket and trousers. The matching waistcoat is an optional £99 extra. Accessories shown in photographs are not included unless selected.

Your jacket styling

Choose a single- or double-breasted jacket front. Choose stepped notch lapels, pointed peak lapels or a rounded shawl collar, then select the available width and finish. Matching fabric gives a tonal look; satin can be placed on the lapels, collar or both as shown by the selector images. Button choices and pocket options are listed in the form.

Fabric and trousers

The jacket is black velvet. Choose matching velvet trousers for a coordinated suit or contrast black trousers in one of the tailoring fabrics offered below: Classic Wool (450g/m²), Classic Light (275g/m²) or Modern (300g/m², our vegan-friendly option).

Made to Measure: choosing your fit

Provide the actual body measurements requested by the form, using consistent units and without adding extra room. Follow each field’s instructions carefully: requested finished jacket and trouser lengths are garment specifications. Your selected regular, slim or relaxed fit communicates your preferred silhouette.

Optional finishing details

Add a waistcoat in the jacket fabric and choose the styling offered when you select it. Bow ties and satin cummerbunds are sourced separately and chosen to complement the suit as closely as possible; fabric and shade may vary.

Planning and support

Allow approximately 4–6 weeks including delivery once the order is ready for production. The estimate starts on the later of 48 hours after ordering or receipt of full payment and all required measurements and styling details. Allow at least eight weeks before a fixed event; these are estimates, not guaranteed arrival dates.

For a fit concern, contact us with your order number, details and photographs so we can compare the garment with the confirmed specification. We do not provide an alteration service; customer sizing or measurement errors do not automatically qualify for a free remake. Read the Returns, Refunds & Cancellations policy for the available resolutions. Your statutory rights are unaffected.
