A custom tuxedo should feel personal, not complicated. At Luxedo Suits, you choose the look and the sizing route that suit you. This guide explains how to order your suit online, from choosing a fabric to checking your finished outfit.

Your Suit, Your Style. Start with men’s tuxedos or women’s tuxedos, or read the steps below before choosing.

1. Choose your design and fabric

Begin with the colour and fabric you want to wear. Then open the product to see its available styling options and what is included. If you are unsure about the fabric in person, ask us for fabric samples before ordering. Screens and lighting can change how a colour appears.

Our fabric guide helps explain the choices. Velvet designs are selected by colour rather than the fabric-blend choices offered on other designs.

2. Choose Made-to-Order or Made-to-Measure

Made-to-Order: standard sizing, your styling choices

Made-to-Order starts with standard size patterns and the size, fit and styling choices shown on the product. It is made for your order, rather than taken from a rack. Check the jacket and trouser selections carefully; do not assume your casual-clothing size will translate directly.

Made-to-Measure: individual measurements and finer control

Made-to-Measure uses the individual body measurements requested in the product form. Consider this route if standard proportions tend not to suit you, or you want the additional tailoring details offered on that design. Options can include finer lapel and styling controls; the selected product shows exactly what is available.

Unsure which route to choose? Read our tuxedo fit guide or ask us before ordering.

3. Make the details your own

Work through the product’s jacket, trouser and optional waistcoat choices. A notch lapel has an inward step, a peak lapel points upwards, and a shawl lapel forms a smooth curve. The lapel guide explains the looks in more detail.

Our suit offering starts with a two-piece design, with an optional waistcoat where offered. Check the product’s included pieces and any priced extras before adding it to your basket. You do not need to select every extra to create a considered outfit.

4. Check your sizes, measurements and event date

  • Follow the selected product’s measuring instructions and use the requested units.
  • Ask someone to help with measurements you cannot take comfortably yourself.
  • Do not reduce measurements to force a slim fit or add allowance unless the instructions ask for it.
  • Check every size and styling choice in your basket before payment.
  • If you have a wedding or other fixed date, contact us before ordering to discuss timing.

For a wedding party or coordinated group, contact us early with the number of outfits and the event date so we can discuss your requirements.

5. Place your order and keep your details

Review the final total, delivery information and terms and conditions at checkout. Keep your order details so you can refer to the selected sizes and options if you need help. If you notice an error afterwards, contact us promptly; changes may not be possible once production is underway.

For current delivery guidance, priority-service information and international shipping questions, see our FAQs. Allow time to try on your outfit before the event rather than planning around a last-minute arrival.

6. Try on the complete outfit

When your suit arrives, try it with the shirt and shoes you intend to wear. Check comfort when standing, sitting and moving. If something does not seem right, contact us with your order details and a clear explanation so we can discuss the next step.

Please read our returns, refunds and cancellations policy before purchasing. Customised garments should not be ordered on the assumption that ordinary off-the-rack change-of-mind returns apply.
