Black & White Tailoring

Three fabrics.
Your preferred feel.

Our classic black and white tuxedos offer the fabric choices shown on their product forms. Jacket and matching pieces use the blend you select; contrast trousers, where offered, follow their own selection.

01 / Structured

Classic Wool

450 g/m²

The heavier of our three tailoring fabrics. Consider it when you prefer a more substantial cloth and a structured feel.

A wool blend, with the composition listed on your selected product.

02 / Lighter

Classic Light

275 g/m²

The lightest listed tailoring fabric. A useful starting point if you prefer less weight in your suit.

Comfort also depends on fit, lining, venue and temperature—not weight alone.

03 / Alternative

Modern

300 g/m²

Our vegan-friendly tailoring fabric. Choose it if you prefer an alternative to the wool blends.

The same styling choices remain available where shown on your selected product.

These figures describe fabric weight per square metre, not the weight of a finished suit. The selected product’s options determine what is available.

After Dark

The character
of velvet.

Velvet has a directional pile: its appearance changes with light and the angle from which you see it. This is part of its character, rather than a flat, uniform colour.

Luxedo velvet tuxedos are selected by colour. They do not offer the Classic Wool, Classic Light or Modern blend choices for the velvet jacket.

Where a velvet product offers contrast trousers or other pieces, check those options separately before ordering.

Explore Velvet

Choose with Confidence

Start with how you want it to feel.

The occasion

Think about your venue, season and time spent wearing the suit. A lighter fabric may feel preferable in a warmer setting; a heavier cloth may suit your preference for structure.

The silhouette

Fabric and fit work together. Slim, regular and relaxed describe different amounts of ease—not different fabric qualities. Choose the fit you actually want.

Your styling

Once you have chosen your fabric, consider your lapel, jacket front and finishing details. The options on your selected product show how you can make the suit your own.

Considering velvet and want to check the shade? Screen lighting and fabric batches can affect colour. Ask about a velvet sample if that would help your decision.
